Form 1098 Box 2 has 0.00 on statement mailed to us.. Turbo tax will not allow a 0 value...this is a mortgage takeover from Mr Cooper dba Nationstar as of 09/2018

Fyi.. I left box 2 form 1098 empty still showed need a value.. i ended up calling mortgage co to get the value.  And mortgage is doing a corrected form .. 

Perfect.  If there is any outstanding principle, then they definitely need to give you a corrected version.  

Delete the 0.00 and leave the field blank/empty.
