Can i change the way I plan on paying back the government? I selected pay by direct deposit. I think it’s going to take one lump some? I Need a payment plan though.

Federal income tax direct debit payments can be canceled up to 48 hours (midnight, Eastern time) before the date you designated the funds to be debited. You can fill out Form 9465 online on the IRS website if you have already e-filed.
