As long as you haven't e-filed yet, you can print and mail your return instead. Here's how:

Note: If your TurboTax navigation looks different from what’s described here, learn more.

  • Open your return and select File.

  • Select Continue next to Step 3.

  • On the We've determined the easiest way to file your taxes screen, select Change.

    • You may see a Let's get ready to e-file screen instead. If so, select File by mail.

  • On the Change filing method screen, select File by mail, then Save.

  • On the Now, it's time to download and print your return screen, select Download.

  • Print your return and drop it in the mailbox.

When you print your return, we'll include instructions that tell you what other paperwork to include and where to send your return.
