Army W2 entered produced a tax due amount

Active Army. I entered my first W-2 (of 2) and it produced a tax due amount. Filing Single with 0 exemptions on my W-4 this hasn't happened before - so what changed? Adding second W-2 continued the trend of owing more. Shouldn't 0 exemptions, filing single, result in the Army taking out sufficient withholding to cover the pay they are providing (ignoring other income sources which didn't have withholding/haven't been entered yet)?

Yes, 0 exemptions should give you a refund (before adding additional income). Check your W-2 and pay stubs. There's usually a place that shows the amount of exemptions. It's possible your withholding was changed by mistake. This sometimes happens when payroll is rolled over into a new year.

You can use the free TurboTax withholding calculator to fill out a new W-2. Click W-4 Calculator 2022.

The IRS calculator is offline through "early feb."  I reviewed my pay stubs- they all show 0 exemptions. I believe there is a calculation error within the program that requires Turbo Tax developers to address.

There are several online tax calculators on the web. Try entering your military W-2 in an app, such as TurboTax Taxcaster. Try a few and see whether you get different results.
