TurboTax keeps asking me to select "Yes, 1099s were filed" on my schedule e for a particular rental. Any reliable fixes for this tech glitch yet?

Already tried re-entering everything on my schedule e, selecting "yes" just to see if it helps, and using different browsers after deleting cookies.

Hi CarissaM,

Thanks for your reply. I was on with customer support for about 45 minutes before I posted, and they were in turn on with tech support at the same time. Tech support would not speak to me and would not look at the "screen share" the customer support rep had up so actually view the problem. They instead told me I had to pay $150 to get live tax advice even though this is a technical glitch, not a tax question. Others posting here have run into this issue and had it (eventually) fixed by tech support.

The TurboTax community has suggested this as a fix for this problem. You need to delete the form (write down your information) and re-enter everything. Make sure that you do not enter yes to Did you pay anyone...?

"While assisting my client in Turbo Tax we noticed this kept popping up.  It is because he selected originally Did you pay anyone for this rental property where form 1099 or W2s need to be filed.  He put yes because he did pay people but not a lot just for cleaning and some yard work to where he did not need to upload or create these forms.  We deleted the form Schedule E and the worksheet, and went back in to the questions and selected No to this question and it fixed the error"
