Do I have to file a form 1099B if I sold a share and received less than $600?

Yes, you need to add a Form 1099-B when received (even if it under $600).

To add Form 1099-B

  1. Sign in to TurboTax
  2. Select "Take me to my return"
  3. Type "Form 1099-B" in the "Search" option and press enter.
  4. Click "Jump to 1099-B"
  5. Select "Yes" on the "Did you sell any investments in 2017?" screen.
  6. Select "+ Add Sales" to add Form 1099-B.
