2021 Turbotax Premiere CD Version and Crypto filing

In my (1/15/2022 updated) 2021 Turbotax Premiere CD Version there is *no* where anything about Crypto filing!!

Please advise. How do I enter my transactions? I have no 1099-B. I received no tax documentation for my transactions and I need to enter them manually.

I see that this was an issue on the 2020 CD version, as well.  I was expecting support for this as *advertised* !

Please advise.

Thanks

It is in the online program as well ...  and in plain sight ...

The CD/Download TurboTax software for 2021 does not have a special place for entering sales of cryptocurrency. You enter it the same as sales of stock.

There is no special place on the tax return for sales of cryptocurrency. Even though TurboTax Online has a separate interview for cryptocurrency, sales of stock and cryptocurrency go in the same place on the tax return.

Had I known the CD/ Download Home and Business version did not have crypto capability, I would not have bought it. I feel ripped off. What a joke of a product.

You can go here TurboTax CD/Download Refund Request Form to request a refund of the downloaded program  within 60 days of purchase.

I can't find my notes right now but what you can do is import them into an online account and then download the .tax2021 file for free to open in the Desktop program.  You will need at least Premier.  But that would involve starting your desktop return over.
