After you file

Does the state say you did not file the return or that you did not PAY your tax due for 2018?   Your only proof that you paid tax due would be your own bank or credit card record.  TurboTax will not know if you paid; TurboTax will only be able to show if your e-file was accepted or rejected.  What does it say in your account?  Does it show that the state return was accepted or rejected?  Or--if it says "Printed" or "ready to mail" that means you did not e-file it and unless you mailed it yourself in an envelope it was not ever filed at all.  TurboTax does not mail it for you.   If it turns out that it was not ever filed, you can print it, sign and date it and mail it in with your payment for the tax owed.   It is too late to receive a refund for a 2018 tax return.

You have to access your own account and/or  print it for yourself using exactly the same account and user ID that you used when you prepared the return.

Start a 2022 return online and enter some personal information  so that the menu on the left opens up and lets you access your past year returns.

Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them.  Log out of the account you are in now.

Or did you use the desktop version of TurboTax?  If so, the files are on your own hard drive or any backup device you used like a flash drive.
