After you file

@N4itb "Divorced" is not a filing status on a tax return.   Look at your Form 1040 to see what filing status you are using----it will be up near the top of the first page.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the screen. Click on Tools. Click on View Tax Summary. Click on Preview my 1040 on the left side of the screen.

If you were still legally married at the end of 2020 your filing choices are married filing jointly or married filing separately.   Or....if you are the custodial parent of the children you might be able to file as Head of Household.

Am I Head of Household?

If you qualify as Head of Household, when you enter your filing status (single or married filing separately) into MyInfo, and then enter your qualifying dependent, TurboTax will offer HOH as your filing status.

If you were divorced before the end of 2020 and are not the custodial parent then you need to file as Single.

You can edit/change your filing status in My Info if you have not e-filed yet.
