After you file
If your parents are claiming you as a dependent, they may have to put the 1098-T Tuition form on their tax return.

If you e-filed your income tax return(s) and:
- They were accepted, you won't be able to edit your information You'll need to amend.
- If your return gets rejected, you'll be able to edit. See How do I fix a rejected return?
Note: the 2019 amendment form 1040-X hasn't been released by the IRS so you won't be able to amend your tax return until then. See When will my forms be ready?
