To enter your business expenses, please follow the instructions in this TurboTax Help topic.

If you are a W2 employee you can no longer deduct job expenses.  Only self employed business expenses on schedule C.   If you are filing schedule C you need to upgrade to the Self Employed version to enter expenses.
