Am I a full-time student?

Jan '16, I was on my internship. During this internship, I was enrolled in two courses. One unrelated, and another that was a specific internship course which showed me as a full-time student to FAFSA so I wouldn't lose my loans/grants. I graduated in May '16. I took 5 credits total. Was I considered a full time student last year?

You don't have to be a full-time student just a half-time student to get the Education Credits. If you're not sure about your enrollment status, Box 8 of your Form 1098-T will tell you whether you were at least half-time for your course of study.

You can state you were at least a half-time student based on your half-time student status per one of your 1098-T forms. See the screenshot below.

To enter, see How do I enter Form 1098-T?

The IRS states a full time student is "as defined by the college" and "at least half time student" is one that is enrolled in at least half the workload based on the institution's definition of what constitutes a full time student.

See https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p970.pdf for more details.
