Hello,
I am trying to efile my S Corp and C Corp returns of 2019 as of Jan 25, 2020 and getting this error message - "you cannot e-file this tax return because the Intuit electronic filing center is not open for the season yet. We accept 2019 Federal corporation tax returns from the beginning of the tax season to the end o f tax season". Everything is correct is on my computer. Can you please help?
They gave same message about my personal tax returns> Why did you let me prepare them if you won't be transmitting them?
SAME message for S-Corp.. So frustrating with no answers!

Contact TurboTax support for this problem.
Use this website to contact TurboTax support during business hours - https://support.turbotax.intuit.com/contact/
Support can also be reached by messaging them on these pages https://www.facebook.com/turbotax/ and https://twitter.com/TeamTurboTax
I called and waiting for reply.. was told I would get a callback. never did. Then received notice that my case was closed!! lol
SOOO I found the answer MYSELF! Google rocks for this..
here ya go:
Would have been SO NICE and saved SO MUCH TIME if this info came up in the error message when trying to file rather than the non-descript one that did, right? lol
FOUND ANSWER MYSELF BY GOOGLING IT:
Also having this issue. I got on with support and the woman had me hold for 10 minutes to find a solution and then hung up on me.
Does it solve the problem? I still can not submit my 1120S with the same error message. Possibly TT s-corp filing opens tomorrow?
Finally I was able to speak with TurboTax and they told me that IRS is expected to provide remaining forms by tomorrow and once the software is updated, the 1120s can be efiled likely tomorrow evening.
As of 4:57 Central time on 01/27/2020, i still can not efile my S-corp returns. Was any one able to submit their business 1120S?
Same Here. No luck. I got an email saying the S corp forms are ready, logged in and tried e-filing but no luck. 7:10 pm CST 1-27-2020
Still no luck in transmitting my S-Corp forms as of 11:00 pm PST 1/27/2020
I am getting the same message as of January 28, 2019 for an 1120S return. I've been trying for several days. When will we be able to efile?
As of 2am CST on January 28, 2019, I'm still getting the same message.
@Critter Put up this link
and I'm assuming the problem is that we all have form 8453-S which is showing as unsupported, meaning we can't e-file. If this is true I'm requesting a refund or issuing a chargeback.
*Update* found this:

Go to this TurboTax website to request a refund for the software purchased from TurboTax - https://support.turbotax.intuit.com/forms/refund-request.jsp
My signed 8453-S has been attached since 1/21/20
STILL no fix in sight.
When is the fix scheduled.
FORMS UNSUPPORTED for e-file that worked in prior years. Is this another Chrome issue?

Intuit, where are you?! Yes, AAJF is correct that we all have 8453-S as it is required to be attached in order to e-file. This form is current. It worked last year for e-filing.
Why does the Intuit / TurboTax e-file system say that this mandatory e-file form is "unsupported"? Unbelievable incompetence from Intuit.
I am still unable to submit e-file for S Corp as of Jan 28 at 1:08pm Eastern. I have been on the phone with support and they could not figure out why. I uninstalled the software and re-did my taxes only to end up with the same error message again! What gives?
Crystal7 - It is all about the link that AAJF posted above. Did you read that? Intuit has an internal error that nobody there seems to be aware of or know how to sort out (in part because their support team is 100% unlinked from the people who actually fix things).
Until the Form 8453-S is flagged by an Intuit developer/manager in their database as "Supported", we will not be able to e-file. They are just being incredibly incompetent, proving that out-sourcing development and support leads to zero customer satisfaction.
PS. Uninstalling, or switching browsers (someone earlier talked about Chrome - which is irrelevant), will do nothing. The issue is in the Intuit Servers. I called support for the personal product and got a stupid reply to reinstall the software, so didn't even bother to contact support here knowing that they don't have a clue what they're doing when it comes to serious bugs or technical issues - only product usage issues.
Anyone else coming across this: do not uninstall, do not re-enter your taxes. We all just have to be patient for Intuit to find an adult to fix this.
Yes, I read that! I can not believe this! I guess we are waiting for people in India to wake up and do their job. I mean really, they have 1 job for 4 months out of the year.
