What does the green meter represent?

The blue meter at the bottom what does it represent?

The green bar is used as a meter to let you know your return has been sent. The blue bar is used as a meter for tracking your refund status in TurboTax. The best way to keep track of your return and your refund is to check the e-file status lookup tool and the Where's my Refund tracking tool.

And so you are aware---TurboTax receives no information at all after you file your tax return.  The only source of information is the IRS or state refund sites.  The "refund meter" on the TT site is little more than a toy.

 

 

 

Once your 2020 federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 34of your 2020 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:
