How can I see my Schedule C 1040 form for 2019 before I file? All my tax info is entered in correctly but I’m not ready to file but I need this form to file for a PPP loan. How do I access it?

Print all form for filing.

You can pay in advance to view/print the Form 1040 and all forms and any worksheets prior to filing.  Here's how:

  • Open your return, and in the left menu column, choose Tax Tools, then Print Center.
  • Then choose "Print/save/preview this year's return."
  • On the next screen choose to "Pay now".
  • The next screen should be an Order Summary.  Review that, and if all is OK, click Continue.
  • It should then prompt you for payment by credit or debit card.  The screen only says "credit card", but it will take a debit card.

NOTE:  If it should offer you the option to "pay later" out of the Federal refund, that can't be used for this purpose.  You will need to pay now by credit/debit card in order to download/print prior to filing.

I’m not seeing this option. Is it because I’m using the app?

So I have to pay to be able to see my form?

Possibly.  I'm not familiar with the Mobile App.  But the mobile app users can also  use Online TurboTax interchangeably.

I don’t see it online either. Where on the menu is the option to print? Did you already pay your 2019 taxes by chance bc some else said I’d have to pay my 2019 taxes to be able to print them. Sorry for all the questions! I’m usually good with this kind of stuff but this is my first time ever doing taxes by myself and it’s a process!l to say the least lol

If it asks you to pay, you'll have to pay for your product in advance to have viewing/printing privilege.  However, you don't have to pay to preview the Form 1040 and Schedules 1-3, but it won't show you the actual Schedule C.

You can view the Form 1040  and schedules 1-3 for free at any time during preparation prior to paying and filing.    Here's how to do a preview for free without printing.   Again, I can't help you with the Mobile App.  These are directions for Online TurboTax.

  • Open your return, and in the left menu column, choose TAX TOOLS, then choose TOOLS.
  • In the Tools window, choose View Tax Summary.
  • When the Tax Summary opens, look in the left menu column and choose Preview My 1040.
  • That will show you the Form 1040 and schedules 1-3.

Or see the 2 FAQs below to see what all you can do in your Mobile App:

Or see these instructions, where it says in step #2 "on mobile devices, tap in the upper left corner to expand the menu".

It has nothing to do with paying taxes; some people don't even owe tax.   You have to pay for the product, i.e., your Self-Employed Edition.
