Final Review is bring up a car that I no longer own. It does not show in my current deduction and credit section. Where is this information and how can I remove/delete it

Since 2023 I no longer own this car.

It depends. If you did sell or trade the car, and if it was used as a deduction on your returns prior to that, then you would have had a taxable event in 2023. If you junked the car with no dollars exchanged, there may still be a possible loss for the business use percentage.

In 2024, if you did not use the car for any business purpose, then you can delete this asset under the rental or business activity where it was used. If you are using TurboTax Online you can use the steps below.

  1. From the left rail menu in TurboTax Online, select Tax Tools (You may have to scroll down on the left rail menu.)
  2. On the drop-down select Tools
  3. On the Pop-Up menu titled “Tools Center,” select Delete a Form
  4. This will show all of the forms in your return
  5. Scroll down to the form you want to delete
  6. Select the Form
  7. Click on Delete.

Always use extreme caution when deleting information from your tax return.  There could be unintended consequences.
