You can enter your hardware and software expenses under Office Expense or Assets.
- Open your return.
- In the Search box, type Schedule C.
- Click on “Jump to Schedule C”.
- You will see your Self-Employee Work Summary, Click on Review.
- Click on Looks Good, until you get to OK. Let’s get the deductions unique to your business.
- Click on Continue.
- On the screen that asks “What kind of expenses did you have? Scroll down to Assets and/or Office Expenses, check the boxes. Click on Continue. And then Start next to the appropriate expense and enter your information.
