8822 B Change of Address Form Preventing Me From Filing my 1065 Returns

I am using TurboTax Business for Windows to prepare my 1065 forms for my LLC partnership. I am ready to file, but since my business has changed its address, it has also prepared an 8822 B Change of Address Form. The 8822 B is still under revision and not available until 3/20/20, but 1065 returns are due 3/16/2020 and TurboTax won't let me file (e-file or mail) my 1065 until the 8822 B is available. Does this mean I have to file late? Or do I leave my out-of-date address on my 2019 1065 returns and file an 8822 B separately later?

You are supposed to print and mail that form, regardless, and not file it with your income tax return (1065).

At this point, you can either file an extension and wait for TurboTax to incorporate the form into the program or simply ignore the change of address form in TurboTax, e-file your 1065, and then download, print, and mail the 8822-B from the IRS web site.

I am having the same issue with my Scorp return. I have gone to the irs website to get the 8822-b to mail in, but turbo tax will not allow me to bypass the delayed form. My business doesn't pay sales tax, so it won't affect a state return that I don't need to file. How do I get around this?

@gatordar You can delete the form entirely in Forms Mode.

The 8822 B form that was holding up my SCorp filing shows available on 3/20.  I receveid a notice from Turbo Tax that the form is now available as of 3/6.  Why isn't the form being updated in my software/return?  I have clicked on check for updates and it doesn't update?  There is a suggesting to just delete the form in forms, will I later be able to print and send?  The software should update if it's available.  Please advise.  Where is the chat option in turbo tax?  Would rather chat to someone and get the issue resolved instead have logging a post.

Thank you

The 8822-B is ONLY required  for changing the address when you are NOT filing a tax return ... when you file a tax return with a new address the IRS records are updated automatically.  Delete the unneeded form so you can efile.
