The main IRS guidance is that how the tax return was filed in 2018 or 2019 will determine the amount of the stimulus check. If there were events that occurred after December 31, 2019, then there may be an additional stimulus payment, but it would not occur immediately.
Be very careful what emails you answer. Sadly, there are bad people wanting to steal taxpayer information by posing as official resources.

We are still waiting for IRS guidance regarding updating or providing direct deposit information for the stimulus payments and how they will be distributed to these type of accounts. We will have more information once the government finalizes the details.

@KathrynG3 Well we filed 2019 and for some reason Turbo Tax put our son, born in November 2019, as not a full dependent and we only got $500 for him. So I submitted an amendment and they have it but it hasn’t been approved or denied yet. According to the email we got from our bank, it says that we are only getting $2400 from the stimulus check (filed married joint) which means we wouldn’t be getting the $500 for our son from the stimulus checks. Once the IRS approves our amendment, would we then get the $500 for our son from the stimulus check?
