Why is it only making me pay back my federal amended portion of my refund and not my state

 I amended my tax return and it's telling me to pay my federal portion of the tax refund not the state I have already received payment from my state refund do I wait til I receive my federal refund and send back both federal and state or just the federal portion?

Do not amend until your original return has been fully processed to avoid unnecessary delays.
