Choose "print to file by mail" and only the pages you are supposed to mail will print out with information including the addresses to use.
When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.
Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses. Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.
No matter what I choose, it always wants to print out a bunch of "worksheets" and pages with no amounts on them. And it prints information about e-filing (drivers licenses etc.) that have nothing to do with mailing the forms.
See the filing instructions document that prints out with the paper copy of your return. You'll see the address in those instructions. For your federal return, you can also look it up at this IRS website.
You can locate the worksheets that were included in your tax return by accessing a complete copy of your tax return from the Print Center. The PDF file of your tax return, that is located on the tax home page will not include the worksheets. Please note: this may not work until your return has been accepted.
Please see the steps below to obtain a complete copy of your tax return which would include all worksheets, vouchers ect.:
