When I originally filed my taxes, I paid taxes on all my unemployment. Now my tax docs are updated to the correct amt. When should I receive my refund for unemployment?

My original docs say the amount of the refund prior to the $10,200 exclusion. Now my tax documents are updated with the amount I should of received. My transcripts with the IRS do not reflect the updated amount though.

@xmasbaby0

I guess my actual question though is : If turbotax already updated my tax documents with the full refund I was supposed to get, do we know if the IRS will update their forms? I know of people who already received their unemployment refunds.

If you filed your tax return before the law for unemployment went into effect then the IRS will recalculate and send you an additional refund.   They have just barely begun to send out those checks---patience is needed.
