Why did you not even answer the question? How do I amend last years return and change the method of payment? Iv looked everywhere, please give a short simple answer. What you have done here is answer a question that was never asked, nobody here is asking about how to pay TT fees, were asking how to change the way we receive our returns.
First of all This is a new forum layout. Some posts that have June 2019 dates are really older posts from the old forum that got moved over. So they might be for prior years and not current info. When they migrated over the dates got changed to June 2019. And the screen shots got deleted.
Then for amended returns. They only mail checks for amended returns, no Direct Deposit. If you have a tax due you mail a check or pay the IRS directly online.
