The “get my refund status” tells me it can’t give me information and the IR2go app says my information is wrong. What do I do to get the status of my refund

My taxes were received and at one point said processing, now it just says it can not give me information.  Does it mean I messed them up?

If it helps, this was happening to me also so I used my wife's information instead since we filled jointly and it came up like normal with the bar saying returned accepted. From what I have seen it unless you have a reference code where the bar was it may just be a glitch.

Sometimes people get confused by the “summary” given by TurboTax and use the wrong amount for the federal refund.  Make sure you are only using the federal refund amount, and not an amount that combined your federal and state refunds.

Your federal refund amount is on line 20a of your Form 1040
