It can take up to 5 business days for your bank to deposit your tax return refund into your account. If the status in Where’s My Refund? shows “Refund Sent”, the IRS has sent your tax refund to your bank for direct deposit. If you do not receive it after 5 business days, you will need to contact your bank.
Ok because my bars on turbo tax has been full for 2days now like the irs has sent out my money but nothn showing up in my bank, does that mean my money is on the way???
You will receive a direct deposit date from the IRS by visiting the Where's My Refund website here.
You can select your state here in order to track your refund. Turbo Tax does not receive the date you will have the refunds deposited. @kiingme16
No turbo tax just has the bar filled all the way...I checked my transcript today on the irs site & I think it says it will be deposited on the feb 20th I'm not really sure tho how to read it
We do not have access to your refund information. If you checked the status of your refund by going directly to: https://www.irs.gov/refunds then you have the most up to date information regarding your refund.
Additionally, you can check out this Help Article for instructions on how to track your state refund.
What date do I look for when putting in that information, do I put the acceptance date, the date I actually did my taxes or the date the irs got it??
To check your refund status you will need:
It asks me about the date I actually filled on the next page tho, where do I look to see that date
You can check your e-file status to find out the date your tax return was transmitted to the IRS. Please see the below TurboTax help article for instructions.
