I filed my taxes early in January and received a mail by the IRS stating that I am eligible for a stimulus check that I did not receive.
I can't seem to find the option "Recovery Rebate Credit" anywhere during the 2021 return amendment process.
What should I do?

There is no amendment process for a 2021 return yet --- the 1040X you need will not be available until late March.
But....look at your 2021 Form 1040. Is there an amount on line 30? If there is an amount there---you are getting the 3rd EIP as part of your refund.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the screen. Click on Tools. Click on View Tax Summary. Click on Preview my 1040 on the left side of the screen.

Line 30 is indeed empty and I have already received my federal and state refunds.
Guess I'll have to wait until late March.
@Edklmn You will need to use the recovery rebate credit in Federal Review to get the 3rd EIP payment when you amend.
