If you've already filed and your return has been accepted (or mailed), it's too late to change your bank account for direct deposit. If the info you provided is for a closed or invalid account, the government will mail you a refund check.

There is nothing that you can do if you submitted your return and it was accepted.  It is just like dropping it in a mailabox and you cannot get it back out.  When the IRS sends the refund to the bank, the bank will know that it is the wrong account and send the money back to the IRS.  Then the IRS will mail a paper check to your address on the return.

Where do I enter my bank's routing or account number?

My account number and routing number were entered correctly, but a few days after filing my routing number only was changed by a couple of numbers, not the last 4 digit.

Please tell me that will be ok?

Your filing information as transmitted will go to the IRS and they will deposit using the information that was on the return.  For more information on this, please see this Help Article
