You can look at your 2023 TurboTax receipt to find the cost of the 2023 software.   You should have an email with the details from whenever you purchased the software.   Your gross income can be found on Line 9 of Form 1040 and your adjusted gross income is on Line 11.

Can I claim tax prep fees as a deduction?

What is the 2% rule?

I actually need a letter from a CPA or Tax Accountant stating my average expenses to my gross income.  My question is that since I paid for Live Tax Help in 2023, is there an actual Tax Preparer that can write this letter in regards to 2023 taxes?

Here is a sample letter which must be on their letterhead so there is no  confusion:

To Whom it may concern:

I, (CPA Name or tax preparer), am writing to verify that (borrower name) has been self-employed for the
past 2 years. (Borrower name) owns X% of (company name). The business has an average expense
factor of <XX%> of gross revenues.
Please contact me if you have any additional questions.

Sincerely,

(CPA or Tax Preparer name)
(CPA or Tax Preparer License #)
(CPA or Tax Preparer Contact #)
(CPA or Tax Preparer Signature)
