Need to convert .tax2018 and .tax2019 file into pdf

Pretty sure you need the software to save to PDF and you do NOT want to send your tax files to anyone.

Open the files in the appropriate version of the program and print the return. The printed file is a pdf. You can’t do it directly from the tax data file. 

The tax data files can only be opened by the TurboTax software for the year of the data file.

TurboTax does not have an application which coverts a tax data file to a PDF.

 

There is a website you can use which will convert the tax data files to a PDF, but it is expensive and is not supported by TurboTax - https://www.taxprinter.com/

 you can always get transcript of  processed  returns  from the IRS :

Get Transcript | Internal Revenue Service (irs.gov)

 

I think most states also have a similar service.

turbotax has software from 2020 . They do not support 2018 and 2019. That’s what i got know from turbotax customer service. 

You get transcripts from IRS only from 2020 and upwards, for previous years like 2018 and 2019, you need file some form for 43 dollars and it takes 75 days to process and i really need 2018 and 2019  tax pdf urgently 

 

so the ask if any of turbotax users still has 2018 and 2019 software and who is willing to convert the tax files into pdf will be appreciated. I know it has confidential information but i really need it quickly.

btw i filed taxes in free version of turbotaxes . Like 

 

@noddy6123 Sorry---it is too late to download 2019 TurboTax software.   TT no longer provides nor supports the software for 2019.
