****IF YOU HAVE ALREADY E-FILED, YOU WILL BE UNABLE TO CHANGE YOUR BANK INFORMATION.
Unfortunately, without the correct routing number AND account number together, your refund will not come via direct deposit. However, don't worry! You should receive notice from the IRS when they cannot complete the direct deposit via US Mail. This notice will let you know that a paper check should arrive shortly. Please see the following link for more info on the IRS notice you will receive: https://www.irs.gov/individuals/understanding-your-cp53a-notice

If the info you provided was for a closed or invalid account, the IRS will mail you a refund or stimulus check.
If you entered a valid but incorrect account number that doesn't belong, most banks won't deposit tax refunds into accounts where names don't match up. You'll also received a mailed refund.
Please see the TurboTax Help article What if I entered the wrong bank account for direct deposit? for more information.
