Hello richinchrist,
I'm sorry to hear about the issue with your refund amount. It is hard to determine what happened since you haven't received a letter from the IRS or BFS.
It is possible that apart of your refund was offset by The Department of Treasury's Bureau of the Fiscal Service. If this was the case, you will receive a letter in the mail with more information. You can always contact BFS regarding this as well.
I've attached a link below with more information, as well as contact information.

I hope this helps!

Thank you for your answer. I don't know of any debts that i had with them but i hope to get that letter in the mail soon. Again Thank you.
You are very welcome. I'm sorry for any frustration this may have caused. If I may ask, how much less was the refund than you anticipated?
To clarify, your deposited refund amount was $695 State / $70 Federal or you received $695/$70 less than you anticipated?
Okay thank you. The $70 for Federal sounds like TurboTax and Refund Processing fee's. If your TurboTax fee's were paid for using your refund, it would have generated a Refund Processing Fee, so $70 sounds accurate for Federal.
As for the State, it does sound like there was offset. Typically the State has a Where's My Refund Tool. If you search your state, example: Where's My Refund Arizona, you can enter your specific information and may get an answer. The Where's My Refund Tool may have a contact number as well.
If you're unable to find one, feel free to let me know what state you live in and I can research more into it for you.
Federal and state refunds come separately from different places at different times.
Check for a state refund <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1899433-how-do-i-track-my-state-refund">https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1899433-how-do-i-track-my-state-refund</a>
Who was the deposit from? You should have 2 deposits. One for federal and one for state.
Sounds like you only got the federal deposit minus the Turbo Tax fees.
Now you are waiting for the state refund.
Well the 27 dollar one was state i think and the other one was SBTPG LLC FROM TAX PRODUCTS PE1
Yes SBTPG is just your federal refund minus the fees plus the 39.99 Refund Processing Service charge (44.99 in California). Your refund has to go through the SBTPG bank to take the fees out and tney charge you another 39.99 for that service.
I think i found the glitch. I had a 1099-R that i didn't file.
