Missing direct deposit information Missouri 1040 tax return long form?

When completing my Missouri State Form 1040 long form, the space for direct deposit information is missing.  It is right after the Refund Amount, Line 53.  Looking at the actual Missouri State Form on their web site, there is suppose to be fill-in space for the deposit information.  But this is missing on the state form in TurboTax.

Were you able to solve your issue? Try closing TurboTax, clear your Cache and Cookies, and reopen TurboTax.

If not, please call TurboTax Customer service.  Here is a link:  Turbo Tax Customer Service

I called Customer Service and they were able to confirm that Missouri forms are NOT ready yet. Some states are and some are not.

Thanks

Thanks for the update.   I kept scrolling knowing that info should appear near the bottom after calculating the refund due.   still not there as of 2/25/2024 (and I also checked the MO.GOV website - the form posted there is also missing the direct deposit fields.)

It appears MO-1040 has been corrected on the dor.mo.gov website but the correction has not yet made it to TurboTax (02/29/24).  I called TurboTax yesterday, spent 50 MINUTES on the phone with them, and they were not able to confirm this is a 2023 filing issue and therefore were not able to provide an estimation of when this issue will be fixed.  They wanted me to share my PC promising they would not have access to make any changes, but the software they use immediately informs that granting access will allow them to make changes to my PC.  Stuck at this point . . . waiting for TurboTax to correct this issue.

We need your help. I would like to take a deeper look at this. However, I need a diagnostic file which is a copy of your tax return that has all of your personal information removed. You can send one to us by following the directions below:

TurboTax Online:
Sign into your online account.
Locate the Tax Tools on the left-hand side of the screen.
A drop-down will appear. Select Tools
On the pop-up screen, click on “Share my file with agent.”
This will generate a message that a diagnostic file gets sanitized and transmitted to us.
Please provide the Token Number that was generated in the response.

TurboTax Desktop/Download Versions:
Open your return.
Click the Online tab in the black bar across the top of TurboTax and select “Send Tax File to Agent”
This will generate a message that a diagnostic copy will be created. Click on OK and the tax file will be sanitized and transmitted to us.
Please provide the Token Number that was generated in the response.

Still awaiting TurboTax's response.  I performed the “Send Tax File to Agent” on 03/02/24.  The process creates and sends the file without an opportunity to add a token number (although I recorded it for further use).  You have not replied to my e-mail or via this site - are you researching this?

Thank you.

Please send us the token number so we can look into this.

Why do you need a token when this is a fundamental problem? Your Form does not match the one at MO.gov

https://dor.mo.gov/forms/MO-1040%20Fillable%20Calculating_2023.pdf

I'm questioning why I bought the Premier version of TurboTax when I have to help you do your job.

I did a print preview of your form and matched it up with the MO 2023 form, Both forms have reserved below line 53. Your forms are currently matching up with the MO forms.. Even more bizarre, the instructions do not mention filling in the information.

I know your biggest concern is the banking information. It does show on the MO worksheet. I can see all 5's filled in on yours so you must have real numbers there and that information is ready to be sent.

The fillable form does show the bank information as it is multipurpose and could be mailed in.

The "reserved" space has been revised on the MO.gov website to include the deposit information:

https://dor.mo.gov/forms/MO-1040%20Fillable%20Calculating_2023.pdf

The TurboTax form is no longer accurate because it does not include it. The program interviews you for it and writes it into a worksheet but doesn't print it out on the MO-1040 long form. No routing or accounting numbers on page 4 after Line Number 53 REFUND.

TurboTax:

Compare 2022’s [TurboTax MO-1040 vs. MO’s MO-1040] -----> then compare 2023’s [TurboTax MO-1040 vs. MO’s MO-1040].  The 2023 TurboTax MO-1040 is missing the direct deposit information; the 2022 TurboTax MO-1040 includes the direct deposit information in spite of the MO non-fillable/print only form displaying “Reserved”.

Your reply is not helpful.  What is your point regarding your “Even more bizarre . . .” comment?  What is your point regarding “. . . so you must have real numbers there and that information is ready to be sent” when I print and mail my return to include attachments and the direct deposit information is missing?  What is your point regarding the fillable form – are you suggesting that I manually data-enter all of my TurboTax information into a MO form to mail to the State?

Please ask a supervisor to review this community discussion to get this resolved.

Thank you.

Same problem with Oregon. No direct deposit information was entered as of 3/25/2024.  Glad I printed the forms to mail instead of efile the state.  Federal was efiled and that contained the correct info for direct deposit.
