Just got an error:214. Can't figure out what to do next

I'm using edge 16.0, and got error:214, what can I do now?

Typically the best bet is to try a different browser when this type error occurs.

This  happens in Desktop edition as well. A different browser is not the issue.

What were you trying to do when you received this error?

Having the same issue...on startup...says it cant load the forms...wont even launch(desktop version)

Please follow the troubleshooting steps here to try to resolve the issue. 

 

If after doing the above the error still happens, please comment and let us know. @dean2

No Luck....Same error "Forms are missing.  Cannot load start a return Error 214"  and i have to use the activation code again to start it...

Please sign out of the TurboTax software, sign back in and check for updates under the Online tab.

That seems to have worked...it crashed the first time after updating and starting a new return, but on the second restart it seemed to be fine...thank you so much!!

I have this same problem and I can't even get to the online tab or sign out, the error box won't let me click anything.

Use Ctrl+Alt+Del to close Turbotax.
