When should I expect my return in my account

It's been 25 days since my return has been accepted and mine is still processing. But I've read forums and posts from ppl that filed 1-2 weeks ago and they've already received their refund in their accounts. I've learned IRS doesn't process returns in the order they're received, so their whole bit about filing early to receive your refund the fastest is not necessarily true imo. It literally makes no difference to file early.

You are always going to find someone else whose refund arrived faster, and someone who waited even longer than you.  That is the way it goes. Returns are not processed “first in — first out.”

Federal and state refunds come from completely separate entities.  There is no rule as to which one will come in first or how long it will be between their arrival in your account

Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control.  TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 35a of your 2021 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:
