If you e-filed then you are done.  Everything was submitted electronically, and you do not have to mail anything in.  After you e-file you get back several e-mails that tell you if the returns were accepted.

When you e-file your federal return you will receive two emails from TurboTax.  The first one will say that your return was submitted.  The second email will tell you if your federal return was accepted or rejected.  If you e-filed a state return, there will be a third email to tell you if the state accepted or rejected your state return.

Since the IRS will not begin to accept returns until January 27, you have to wait until after that for those emails.

Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 20 of your Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

As of today, 1/31/2020, I haven't received any emails that my return has been filed, accepted or returned.

Please advise.

You would first want to use the link provided to check your e-file status. If your e-file status shows that your return has been Accepted, you can then click on Where's My Refund within the link below to track your return:
