If you are approved for the cash advance how do you access your funds if you don't have a turbo tax card yet

I don't believe you can access the funds until the card comes in the mail. It's more so a good option for those who wait weeks for their return just so they have money quicker. Direct deposit by far is the quickest way. 

Once you are approved for the refund advance, after your return has been accepted by the IRS, you will receive an email with a link to activate your Temporary card, this will allow you to use your card online for any shopping needs. 

You should receive an email with instructions on how to create your online account. If you can’t find it, check your junk mail folder. The sender will be turboprepaidcard@email.turboprepaidcard.intuit.com.
