Tomorrow is my 21 mark day and wmr changed to no bars and says a refund date will be issued soon, im praying its not under review, last year i got them back in 8 days but i have a newborn added to the return and worked in another stae so im thinking maybe thats it, whatever came of yours?
Because of a discrepancy on our return we were under 60 day review with a hold on refund. I called and the guy helped us get off hold and review by allowing us to amending it later. That was 3/3 and we have a ddd for Mar 21.
Topic 152 is just a generic code that means your tax return is still being processed by the IRS. When they are finished, your status will change to approved and an estimated direct deposit date will populate on "Where's my Refund".

Same here but I received a letter shortly after for a review call them on Monday
Ok I have been stress iij ng cause I was audited back in 2017. Got everything resolved got my 17 and 18 returns they was holding because of my Son SS number entered wrong by my preparer. This year return 2019 she didnt say anything would hold it back but is there a reason my is saying topic 152 and no bars on the app and my boyfriend filed after me and he has bars?? Please help!! THANKS
According to the IRS, when you see 152 on your refund status that generally means: "they are processing your Tax Return". Once the IRS has finished processing your return and it is not rejected, the status will update to accepted and they will give you an estimated date for your refund.
The bars can take anywhere from a few days to 3 weeks to update.
If you claimed EIC or Additional Child Tax Credit, the IRS usually begins issuing tax refunds on these returns in late February.

When will I get my IRS tax refund?
what if you have two bars and they disappear and now you have the code 152 what does that mean when the bars go away and then you get to the 152
No need to worry. Tax topic 152 refers to your refund information. Once the IRS has received your return, they can sometimes post this code notifying you of the usual 21-day timing that it could take to receive it.
Please refer to the following IRS article.
Here is another article that will provide more information on refund timing.
What does it mean when the bars disappear from where’s my refund and you get a message saying it’s still processing and that you will get a date when available?
It means your return is processing - For more information, please see below from the IRS website: https://www.irs.gov/taxtopics/tc152
My bars are gone and tt is gone jst saying we have received your return and it's be processed got information on the side but nothing else
Your status on the WMR (Where's my Refund) will change throughout the processing of you return. Nobody but the IRS can give you correct information for your status. TurboTax does not receive any updates for the tax returns after we get notification that the return has been accepted. You can click here to see a chart with estimated refund dates based on the date your return was accepted by the IRS. Some 2019 Federal Refunds will be delayed due to the Path Act. hello first my bars went away then I got the message with earned income and you know mid-February now all that's gone now it says processing is being processed
Did anyone get a deposit date that had “still processing” and no bars and tax topic 152?
Mines still say the same thing still processing with tt152 called irs said a letter was sent that I never received and that’s it’s under a 60 day review advised me that the status can change at anytime but I still don’t have a date
I would like to know as well they told me I was under a 60 day review but status can change anytime
Tax Topic 152 simply means that your e-filed return is being processed and that the government hasn't approved or rejected it yet. Sometimes return status does not update for several days or even longer. The IRS issues more than 9 out of 10 refunds in the normal time frame: less than 21 days. However, it’s possible that some tax returns may require further review and could take longer.

I see tax topic 152, processing. But received a letter stating IRS is verifying return. 60 days wait. Nothing specific as to why it’s being verified. Also no number to call on letter. Very worried.
If you are needing to reach out to the IRS in regards to the letter received, please see the below. Additional verification doesn't automatically mean an audit.
Call the IRS: 1-800-829-1040 hours 7 AM - 7 PM local time Monday-Friday
When calling the IRS do NOT choose the first option re: "Refund", or it will send you to an automated phone line.
So after first choosing your language, then do NOT choose Option 1 (refund info). Choose option 2 for "personal income tax" instead.
Then press 1 for "form, tax history, or payment".
Then press 3 "for all other questions."
Then press 2 "for all other questions."
- When it asks you to enter your SSN or EIN to access your account information, don’t enter anything.
- After it asks twice, you will get another menu.
Then press 2 for personal or individual tax questions.
It should then transfer you to an agent.
