Yes! "Ready to mail" means that your return will be printed (by you) and
mailed to the IRS. If you chose direct deposit for your refund option
then your refund will still be sent to your bank account after the IRS processes
your paper mailed return.
I filed my paper mail on the 2nd of April and requested direct deposit. It said it would get there by the 4th, but so far, nearly 10 days later, I haven't gotten my refund yet.
I had to mail mine due to not reviving the ip pin. I mailed mine on March 28th and put tracking on it. They recieved it April 1st. I checked wmr on Apr 15 and said they recieved it and its processing. I opted for direct deposit now just a few days ago when I check wmr ny bars went away and it says we are still processing your refund. A refund date will be provided when available. What happened?!?!?
How many days does it take for them to receive it and be approved ? And how long do I have to wait after being accepted ?
After January, e-filed returns generally sit in Pending status for 24–48 hours before coming back as either Accepted or Rejected. It can take anywhere from a few days to 3 weeks to go from acceptance to approval. For more information please click the link below.
