I worked on j1 visa in USA in 2019. I didn't know nonresidents shouldn't do TurboTex, so I did. My Tex is still in progress. Is there way I can change the tax refund?

As a nonresident alien, you cannot use TurboTax to file form 1040.

 

You now need to use TurboTax to amend your wrongly filed form 1040 by zeroing it out.

 

To amend your return, please follow the instructions in this TurboTax Help topic.

 

You then have to file a nonresident return (form 1040NR). TurboTax has a partnership with Sprintax.
