Before Amending be sure that your original tax return has first been accepted or rejected. If rejected, you can go back and add the Form 5695. This is BS, turbotax needs to stop saying that they do amendments for previous years. They do not allow E-Filing of previous years. I had an amendment for my 2021 return went to website put info in and it tells me that they stopped taking amendments November 22 2022 and are no longer accepting them you must file with paperwork and mailing to the IRS yourself, i thought that is why we pay for the extra premium. I will have to think about going to another tax program next year. Really sucks i have been with turbotax for 9 years and praise them to everybody until now, no more praise out of my mouth.
