Did you receive that email after filing your return? If you haven't filed your return yet and received that email, it could have been that someone mistakenly entered the wrong email address when filing their return. For more information, please see: I received a TurboTax email or text message, addressed to a stranger. Do I need to worry?

Have you checked Where’s My Refund? it has the most up to date information available about your refund. The tool is updated daily (usually overnight) so you will just usually need to check once a day for progress.

If your refund is reduced for a federal tax debt you will receive a notice from the IRS. If your refund is reduced for another type of debt you will receive a notice from the Bureau of the Fiscal Service (BFS). You can call the BFS at 800-304-3107.

Please see this TurboTax FAQ for information regarding your TurboTax fee that may be due before you receive your refund which includes information about an email you will receive that will allow you to request a deferment:
