I printed my returns the other day to review. I did not choose "I am done" bc I wanted to be able to change. Today Turbotax won't let me back in to edit. How can I?

Please see the instructions below on how to open up your return after you printed your return:

1. In TurboTax Online, sign into your account.
2. Select Tax Home in the left menu.
3. Scroll down to Your tax returns & documents.
4. Select 2018, and then select Add a State (you're not actually adding a state, this will open up the return)
5. Select the area you want to edit on the left (My Info, Federal, etc) and make your changes.

Ok that happens when you clicked on "amend return" before. Did you cancel the amend return? Sometimes you will have to cancel it again and then try clicking again on "Add a State". Some users also need to log out and back in.

I am in this exact situation, as I printed the returns to preview them.  I need to edit my federal, but only option is to Amend and it says I have to wait for amended form.  I can edit the state fine.  Of course, I haven't mailed anything yet.   What can I do? 

If you select to add a state, it will allow you to go back into the return to make changes if you have NOT filed your return. 

It will not actually add a state, but will allow you to then go into the return to make changes.
