You can still log in to your TurboTax account to amend your 2020 return. However, depending on the information you are amending you may be prompted to upgrade.

My employer sent me a corrected W-2. Even if I filed a simple tax return, I’ll have to buy the deluxe version of TurboTax to amend it?

Make sure you are in the same account as when you filed the 2020 return.
What was changed on it? You might not need to amend at all. Like for Social Security or Medicare tax.

Since there is a change in wages and your federal withholding then you would want to at least prepare the amendment to see if it results in a change that affects the outcome of your original return. If it does not result in a change to the original return, you do not need to file the amended return.
Right, so is there a way to do that in TurboTax now that they don’t participate in the free file program? Is my only option to pay for the deluxe edition to potentially refile a simple w-2?
