I meet all the pre-qualifications for the refund advance loan, but it came back and said I dont qualify. I do not understand. I am very upset! How can this be?

If you weren’t approved, you will receive an email from First Century Bank, N.A. with the reason for denial and contact information if you have additional questions about the decision.

I called a number that I found here that someone posted it’s, [phone number removed] You can speak to someone that can help you. Just FYI, they told me if I’m denied I’ll get a letter within 30 days. Even though, every reply you read on this website tells you 24-48 hours. In my opinion, a lot of the information is misleading. They get you pumped thinking you’ll have some extra cash while you wait for your refund. You’re lucky if they don’t find a reason to deny you. I’ve been using Turbo Tax for years, even though they say it’s Free....somehow I still end up paying. I used H&R Block last year because I was tired of Turbo Taxes lies. This year I gave them another chance because they said I was Pre-Qualified for $750. Did everything the way I was supposed to, and like usual everything they state is misleading. I got denied because First Century Bank said I might have a federal tax offset. I call the number they give me and I don’t have any tax offset, which I already knew. So, this was a complete waste of time for me. Never using Turbo Tax again.

Same here.  Why would they say I had an offset when I clearly don’t?  This is unfair practices. It’s discriminatory and it’s bad business
