Have you already submitted? If you have not click here for help with updating your info. If you have already filed and it has been accepted by the IRS you will need to amend your return. See the article provided below.

How do I amend my 2020 return?

If you efiled both the fed & state return  then the account is LOCKED until the feds have either accepted the return or rejected it.   If the feds rejects then the state rejects as well so you can make the corrections needed and re-efile it.

If the fed is accepted and the state is rejected you can also make the state corrections and re-efile it.

However if both the fed & state returns are accepted for processing you must WAIT for the original state  return to be processed before trying to amend the state.

State of OKlahoma not giving credit for IRA withdraw state income tax payments from Fidelity on my 1099-R.  Also, not calculating eliminations from state income taxes i.e., "maximum $20K exclusion.  WHY?  does turbotax have a bug?
