You can click here for instructions on how to Amend Your Return.  When you get into the amended return you will visit the My Info section first and change your status to Married Filing Jointly.  You will then need to add your husband and his income. The mailing instructions will be printed with the amended return.

The Amended forms are expected to be available in TurboTax Online around February 7th.  It can take up to 16 weeks for the IRS to process your amended return.

Remember, you will need to print and mail the 1040X as it is NOT able to be e-filed.

Thank you for your response! Here is just a little more info to see if I have more options. He has not filed his taxes yet and will be head of the household. Should he file and add me to his? Would that void my return? Or should I do as mentioned above and amend and add him to mine?
