I accidentally filed my taxes wrong and i am amending it. I now owe what was returned to me already. am i able to make installments on the amount i owe now after amending

Yes, I would go ahead and prepare that amendment and send it in. Once they process it (12-16 weeks), they will send you a bill.

You can either pay it at that time or you can setup a payment plan directly via the IRS website at the link below:
