How to I edit the economic rebate credit? I put 0 in but I think this was for the stimulus 1400?

Yes, the third stimulus amount was $1,400 per person if you qualified.

 

If you haven't filed then please follow these steps to edit the amount of third stimulus received:

 

1. Click "Search" at the top right and type "Stimulus".
2.  Follow the jump to link (if you do not qualify for the Recovery Rebate Credit the stimulus questions will not come up). 
3. On the screen "Let's double-check the amount you received" you will be asked about the amount of third stimulus payment you received. TurboTax will then calculate the amount of stimulus payment remaining that you are still entitled to get. 
4. Any stimulus amount remaining due to you will show as The Recovery Rebate Credit on line 30 of Form 1040.

 

 

If you have already filed then you won't be able to make changes to your return. Most likely the IRS will make a correction automatically like last year. Please see IRS Recovery Rebate Credit Q D2 What happens if I claim the incorrect amount?

 

If the IRS doesn't adjust the refund automatically then you will have to file an amended return (1040-X) to correct the error. Please see How to amend (change or correct) a return you've already filed (this will update once the 2021 1040-X is ready).
