Having same issue. Is there a fix yet?

Update 2/15/25: when i started TT this time, it update the state (CA in my case), then i was able to submit without any issues( did not change anything)... Must have been a bug they fixed in the TT state component.

The "fix" that came from Turbo Tax was a joke. What I ended up doing was to shut down my pc each night and try again the next day. On the third day, when I accessed TT, I finally got a message that there was an update. I clicked on the link to get the update, went into my return and was brought to the File section and was able to go through the last few screens. Be sure to update the date on the signature screens. The Transmit button finally worked.

TT is losing customers rapidly - I won't be back in 2026. This issue is needless and the IT support sucks. Validated that Windows is up to date, downloaded the forced updater, ran it, DID NOT WORK.  Restarted PC numerous times. Deleted TT, downloaded, reloaded, DOES NOT WORK.

WHEN WILL THIS ISSUE BE ADDRESSED?

What you're describing is the "fix" that they sent me. It was a load of crap.  I just tried accessing my return each day until there was some sort of update. You know, once in awhile you click to access and you get a msg that says there's an update. After several days, I got one of those pop-ups and then I was able to go to the File section. It had retained my drivers license info, then got a couple of signature screens. Ensure that you change the date you originally put in to be the current date. After that, it gave me the Transmit button and it finally went through.  Just keep trying each day (it took 3 days for me). And make sure you shut down your pc each night. That may have played a part in my final success.

I FORGOT TO MENTION that the one other thing I changed was my method of payment for the $25 state filing. I switched from using my Fed refund to using a credit card.  Apologies for not passing along this info earlier. Hope this helps.
