How long take your taxes this year this year I decided to get them done with turbo tax and is the most time of waiting in my return this year is always take less or the 21 days and it have been 30 day

The Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes Act (PATH Act) prevented the IRS from issuing early refunds on any tax return that claimed the Earned Income Tax Credit (EIC) and/or Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC).

 

If you claimed the EIC or ACTC on your tax return, the IRS could not issue your refund before mid-February. The law requires the IRS to hold the entire refund — even the portion not associated with the EITC or ACTC.  

 

Since it's been over 21 days since the IRS accepted your return, we suggest contacting the IRS directly to inquire about your refund.  Go here for tips on reaching a live IRS agent when you call.
